MIV is a modern, forward-integrated, land-based aquaculture company specializing in regenerative shrimp farming for the global market.
All of MIV’s shrimp will be produced from non-GMO eggs using sustainable and ecologically responsible practices. From carefully monitoring quality throughout the growing process to employing industry-leading equipment, MIV is wholly committed to producing shrimp of the highest caliber.
In addition to our shrimp farming, MIV is branching into the hatchery, feed, processing and export of shrimp.

Synbiotics
Synbiotics are a combination of prebiotics and probiotics that has a synergistic effect by inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria and enhancing the growth of beneficial organisms.
Aquamimicry simulates natural conditions
Aquamimicry is a concept that strives to simulate natural estuarine conditions by creating zooplankton blooms (mainly copepods) as supplemental nutrition to the cultured shrimp and beneficial bacteria to maintain water quality.
Biofloc & Bio-RAS
Biofloc Technology System (BTS), which consists in promoting the growth of beneficial floccules in the water that will act as water remediators, pathogen control, water quality buffers, and an alternative protein source. A Bio-Ras is a hybrid technology that combines the principles of Biofloc with those of a RAS.
Roadmap
- 100+ hector eco-farm growing shrimps, fish (salt-water), crabs, mollusks and seaweed.
- The farm's main output will be chemical-free organic shrimp and supplemented with the aforementioned seafood.
- Estimated yearly output of shrimp: 4,500 tonnes.
- Most shrimp nurseries in Vietnam engage in eyestalk ablation to increase the yield of their PL shrimp for higher profit. This creates PL shrimps that are unhealthy and susceptible to diseases.
- To ensure health and quality of our shrimps, a PL shrimp nursery will be opened in Phan Rang, Vietnam to supply our shrimp farm.
- Mid-level processing plant with a max processing capacity of 10,000 tonnes annually
- 50 hector of land will be purchased for the following:
- Cold storage facility
- Shrimp processing
- Commercial and technical service centers
- Packing plant
- Goods and container seaport
- 50% of operational cost goes to feed.
- MIV can drastically reduce overhead cost by 15-30% by manufacturing feed design
- MIV will offer franchise services.
- Applicants must go through a 3 year fellowship before submission
- MIV will provide PL shrimp, feed, nutrients, supplements, construction design and technical support to all participants.
- A 10% insurance fee will be deducted at harvest and added to an insurance pool. This pool will act as insurance for participants and will cover the cost of operational failure.
